Cómpeta 27.3.12

We set off for Canillas de Albaida in the sunshine. 


Just a few paces from the hotel is the lovely Chapel San Anton, featured above. 

The route round the mountain side is very pretty

In a coffee bar we met Dini, above. It transpires she wrote the book of walks, which we were clutching!
 We walked round the hills further to Archez.

And arrived at the minaret tower of the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación.

We walked nearly 20 km.  Here is a link to a map of the area

The pool in Cómpeta is clean and quiet with great views. You have to wear a cap. It's 3E and well worth it.
